Disney has unveiled the teaser trailer for “Freakier Friday,” the highly anticipated sequel to the 2003 hit body-swap comedy starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
Set decades after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) experienced their unforgettable identity-swapping escapade, the sequel finds Anna now raising a daughter and navigating life with a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As their blended family faces the challenges of merging lives, Tess and Anna soon realize that history (and lightning)might just repeat itself.

New additions to the cast include Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. The script is written by Jordan Weiss, with Nisha Ganatra (“Late Night,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) taking the director’s chair. Andrew Gunn and Kristin Burr return as producers.
