Police target anti-social behaviour

Arrests have been made following incidents of anti-social behaviour in Berri.

Riverland Police were recently made aware of incidents in Berri’s Vaughan Terrace which included drinking in a dry zone and disruption of the peace, and as a result paid regular attention to the area in recent weeks.

As a result four arrests were made for disorderly behaviour, breach of bail, theft, and outstanding warrants, while three fines were issued over the same timeframe, two for drinking in a dry zone, and one for possession of cannabis.

Police have called for anyone who witnesses any offending or requires police assistance to phone Police Assistance on 131 444 or 000 in an emergency.
