SA’s largest fresh water fishing competition returns to Barmera’s Lake Bonney tomorrow.
Now in it’s 12th year, the SA Carp Frenzy has gathered quite the following, seeing nearly 800 anglers pre-registered.
Last year over 5.7 tonnes of carp was caught from the lake, the largest being 81.5CM

The fishing gets underway from 6.30am , with the SA carp tossing championship starting at 4pm.
