Barmera-Monash have finished the home and away season on a high in Riverland Football, winning their first minor premiership since 2013.
In the battle for the minor premiership Barmera-Monash led from the start to be eventual winners 9.11-65 to Renmark 5.7-37.
Renmark’s Nick Gillard was able to win the league goal kicking award after he kicked two majors, seeing him end the season with 44 goals, two higher than Barmera-Monash player Jono Beech who missed Saturday’s game.
The final game for Loxton North saw them claim a memorable two point win over Waikerie, Final scores 7.9-51 to 7.7-49.
While at Berri’s last match it was opponents Loxton that returned to form with a 65 point victory.
Finals this weekend sees Barmera-Monash take on Renmark with the winner progressing to the Grand Final, while the other Semi Final has Waikerie take on Loxton.
