Police have arrested a man in Monash, following a series of a events Saturday afternoon.
Around 3.30pm Saturday, Police say the man was involved in a verbal altercation with another person after driving through the Yamba quarantine station, after which he drove away at high speed.
A short time later the man, aged 40 from Victoria was located in Monash along with his vehicle.
It’s then alleged he refused to provide his details to police and refused to comply with directions to submit to a roadside breath test. It’s alleged further that when officers that when arrested he violently resisted.
He’s now facing several charges, and will face court later this year.
