Ongoing mobile connectivity issues has seen the Loxton Waikerie Council voice their frustrations.
This week Council outlined many residents within the Loxton Waikerie district were feeling the strain since the demise of the 3G network.
Council say they have taken proactive steps by lobbying major telecommunications for upgrades in six key areas, and while hopeful they say there’s no guarantee they’ll be included in the next round of black spot funding.
Council CEO, David Beaton said “The current standard of connectivity in our region was simply not good enough” With Mr Beaton adding further “communities depend on reliable access to mobile and internet services for everything from conducting business to ensuring safety while traveling”
