Community and sporting groups located within the Berri Barmera Council area can now apply for grant funding.
The program allows groups to develop, encourage and support community activities, through funding for capital improvements and support for events and activities.
Berri Barmera Council Mayor Ella Winnall encouraged local community and sporting groups to apply for the community funding.
“Council is proud to provide essential funding to local groups each year to bring community initiatives to life,” she said.
“Our grants program enables our community to deliver the works and events that make the Berri Barmera area such a great place to live.
Applications are now open for funding up to $4000 for capital improvements, $1500 for events or $2,500 inclusive of cash and in-kind support.
Applications close 5pm, Monday April 14.
