Now the date has been set for the Federal election, Riveland locals have just a week to update their details on the electoral role, or enrol to vote.

All Australian citizens aged 18 years and over are required to enrol and vote in the election.

Locally, over 123,000 voters were on the electoral role for the seat of Barker at the 2022 election.

Further information on local candidates is expected to be known soon, with Labor and the Greens yet to publicly announce their local candidates.

Enrolment closes at 8pm Monday the 7th of April 2025, with further information available via the AEC website.

Riverland and Mallee locals will go to the polls on the 3rd of May.
