Local member for Chaffey, Tim Whetstone is urging locals to be bushfire prepared.
The long-time sitting member this week said the region was facing a long hot summer after a dry spring, which means fire will be a severe risk to our community once again.
“We know bushfires are devastating and it’s important that if people haven’t taken any steps to prepare themselves or their property, they take this warning and do so now” said Whetstone.

The local member also praised the work of local CFS personnel, and encouraged anyone wanting to contribute to the community to consider signing up to be a CFS volunteer.
