Australia Day Powerboat Racing

This weekend is shaping up to be a great weekend of racing, we have locals, state and interstate drivers and teams traveling to compete on the weekend.

Race format – Saturday will see boats on the water from 10am for practice, moving into 1 heat for all classes in the afternoon. Racing to be finished by 4pm.

Race format – Sunday again will see boats on water from 10am, with our Juniors to start the day off. We will run 2 heats and a final for all classes. End of the day will finish with the Les Schrapel Memorial race for Unlimited, Unblown Boats and Our King of the River for Unlimited Boats.

Entry to the event will be gated at the club rooms with the ladies from the Women’s and Children’s Hospital asking for a gold coin donation upon entry. 100% of your donations is going directly back to the children’s hospital, please keep this in mind.

Catering will be provided by the guys and girls from the Berri Water Ski Club.

BBQ and Drinks available all day, both days from the club rooms.

Pits will be open for everyone to go take a look at but please be mindful of teams moving around and preparing for the next races.
