It’s expected to be a big day in Barmera tomorrow for the running of this year’s SA Carp Frenzy.
Earlier this week event officials were pleased with early registration numbers, with the fishing event anticipated again to have over 1000 entrants.
Last year over 80% of participants travelled from outside the Riverland to take part, with the event now SA’s largest fishing competition by some margin.

Funds generated from the event have supported several community projects and initiatives over the events timeline, which is now over a decade.
