Organisers of Saturday’s Loxton Mardi Gras have made slight time shift as forecasted temps are expected to run into the 40’s.
Saturday’s parade will now start at 10am with a number of floats expected to take part.
This year marks 68 years for the local Mardi-Gras, which continues to see ambassadors raise funds for important local projects & programs.
A Spokesperson said “the event is one of Australia’s longest-running community parades and each year provides a rare opportunity for local residents, businesses, tourists and the community as a whole, to come together and celebrate our town and greater district”
All the action can be seen at the Loxton number 2 oval on Saturday.
