With the switch-off for the 3G mobile network looming, the nation’s largest telco has confirmed the Riverland has no remaining 3G only towers.
Telstra say the last local 3G only tower was upgraded in 2022, and the Riverland has equivalent 4G coverage in place where there was once only 3G.
The switch off is set for the end of August, locals wanting to check if their phone will be impacted should text ‘3’ to 3498.
