A local runner will soon head to the National Cross Country championships.
Berri Primary student Harry Vrakking has qualified for the event to be held in Canberra next month.
Earlier this year he broke the 3km Riverland record for his age group, and two subsequent dramatic qualifying events has seen him qualify for the Nationals.

A fundraising campaign is now underway to cover some of the costs, with the young runner selling lucky squares, together with a go fund me page now established.
